| As most of you know I do a lot of Bigband stuff, and therefore I've been looking for a more traditional Archtop. And well, to make it short, yesterday I went home with an Epiphone Broadway. It plays like a Dream, and its acoustic qualities ere really impressive. And even through the amplifier you hear a lot of wood! Here's a Picture: I think it's the right addition to the types of sounds I do already get from the Gretsch. | |

| My friend used to have one those. It was a very steady player, I liked the feel of the neck. | |

Have been thinking about doing something like that before I bought it. But the stock Pickups do already deliver a perfect Freddie Green Rhythm Sound, and as mentioned, they bring all the acoustic character of the guitar through the amplifier, so they'll stay. I might do some cosmetic stuff though. I'd love to put a Super 400 Tailpiece on it, but they're not available. | |
