Country music lost one of its definitive voices ever today. Seeing as how this is a Setzer page, I thought I'd post a link to the Dave Edmunds/Stray Cats take on the George Jones classic "The Race Is On."

Very cool clip, and one that I had never seen before. However, I don't think you should be concerned with posting other artists' work here in the other artists' thread. Never apologize for that; thats what we are here for!! My condolences to the family of The Possum, and bring on the music! :-)

I love George Jones, Dave Edmunds, and the Stray Cats, so I thought the video I posted would cover all those bases. If you wanna hear George Jones, here he is at Farm Aid in 1985 (the same show where Setzer performed):

Here's George Jones' first chart-topper, White Lightning. Written by JP "The Big Bopper" Richardson, it was also covered by Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran on that fateful 1960 UK tour.
