New forum, lets make some new memories

Hey guys,

We were hacked. I tried everything I could to save the old message board, but it was destroyed.

This sure has been one hell of a week for the HDVDL. This site has been up and running for 8 years, and there is no way in hell im ever going to let anyone destroy it.

A huge thank you to everyone for being so understanding.

Avoid the Turkish Delight-a-billy

The same thing happened to a forum for Nashville area moms that my wife is on. It's some sort of game, where teams hack sites, and put up their flash screen. I say hang them up by their most prized parts, paint em with honey, and put em on an anthill.

but i might just be bitter.

Thank you to Mandi and Scott and anyone else who helped to bring this board back.. it sure is weird having some topics completely empty.. I'm sure it won't be long till they are full again.

p.s. I've got a confession to make....I'm old and stuck in my ways. This new board is going to take some getting used to. Gotta drive it around the block and kick the tires, then take it out on the highway and see what she'll do.

I'm sure it's my fault about the old site because everytime i go to post my 2000th comment we go back to square one! But i'm more worried that i can't re-read Rick's posts....that was my Setzer Bible. I hope young Rickabilly (well he's younger than me) has backups and can re-post half the site again!

I feel SO BAD that I didn't visit more often on the old board before it crashed. I can get a fresh start on this one, hopefully I'll have some things to actually say this time around, hahahhaa!

Glad that you guys were able to get a new board up and running. In a way, I'm happy I missed the crash because I'm sure that I would have been crying my eyes out that the board went down. I don't come here often anymore, but I know that I'd be deeply hurt that I missed out on a really good thing. You guys are amazing, always have been, always will be. Glad that I've got a second chance to try and hit that Setzerholic status.
