Could some one tell me how to play the chord that brian uses on the guitar lesson video at BS.com at 3.16? It sounds great how he plays it.. I have to learn some of these need tricks now the Gretsch is about to arrive.. Thanks in advance!

it is a D7/9 chord:
String + Fret E: x A: 9 (3rd, F#) D: 10 (7th, C) G: 9 (9th, E) b: 10 (5th, A) e: 10 (root, D)

no, it´s just these 8 examples and only the last one (example 8 ) is tabbed completely. For the first examples the idea of what´s going on is more or less thoroughly discussed in the mag. It helped me a lot, anyway.
Futher complete transcriptions in that respective issue are: That´s alright mama (Elvis´ version) Rock around the clock (including the D. Cedrone-Solo) That´ll be the day (Buddy Holly)
