| Yeh, Ebay is a nice source! I fact, through Ebay I got like a dozen or so, and if I'm correct, they are D'Addario. That's what one of the picks that I got has engraved. |

| The thing is the picks that suit Brian Setzer may not suit you! Buy a bunch of different picks and see which one you like the best Personally I like the Green Dunlop Tortex picks Dunlop Picks | |

| The green ones are to hard for me. I like them softer.. The picks of Brian I have, seem to be just as hard or maybe even a little harder as that green one. So take the advice from Shaker and try a few.. | |

| Tommy gave me couple of Brian's picks, they're pink, about medium thickness, BS signature printed in black. | |

| I'm playing around with Dunlop Stubby 2.0mm. Not a bad pick, gets my hands closer to the strings and seems to give me more control. Dunlop Fat Boy!! (Stubby)Stubby-Pony | |

| 2mm! Holy crap Pony, that sounds crazy hard! Someone recently showed me a slate pick they were using - that would be so weird, basically playing with a piece of stone!! I'm playing with .73mm's but I've been seriously wanting to get some of Gretsch's 3 pointed picks. I don't know why, they just seem totally cool to me- doesn't even say what size they are. | |

The 2mm gives the guitar a bassier sound, the thinner the pick the more tinner it sounds. Best thing to do as mentioned get a wide variety and give them all a go to see what suits.

Stubby-Pony holy shiznit... Do you like ZZ top? wow man those are MAN picks but farrrrrr from a rockabilly pick. Jazz dudes use monsters like those! Setzer uses medium picks, I have one from his number #13 case (ssshhh..) but ya.. we all have our preferences.. I am sold on Dunlop Tortex Orange .60's and 11g strings... but thats for a gretsch. I prefer the .70s on my strat with 10g strings...

| I've used Dunlop Jazz III's for eons. ...well maybe not for eons but I cannot remember when I started using 'em. Around -90 or -95ish I think, could be earlier too. They take some time to get use to it. Fact (related): Like, if you got a black pick and you drop it on a white floor you will not find it. Ever. Even with colors reversed. It is gone. Devided by Zero. True Story. | |

Haha, I tell people that all the time and they think I´m mad! At least I now know that I´m not alone in the mysterious land of the vanishing picks! Yeah, picks are strange indeed, they have such a weird ability to bounce. I think there´s a trench on the dark side of the moon where they all end up!

| YEH!!! EXACTLY AS YOU DESCRIBED IT!! I also have another one with the BSO martini glass logo, on brown/pearl, and a the back it says "D'Addario / Guitar Slinger"
I have about a dozen or so... the most preciated one is the 68 CBS, as it was the first time I saw a Brian Setzer show, though this pick was bought in Ebay some years later; I only got the Rockabilly Riot pick first hand as by the end of the concert in Paris, I shouted to Bobby and he approached me and gave me 2-3 of them, and another pair to my friend ;-) |

| I do also have some of Brians picks, and they're 0.6 mm I think. You could also go for the Dunlop Lucky 13 ones, I use them too because they have the coolest looks: | |

| I was able to grab one of Brian's picks when he played Oslo with the Nashvillains back in 2005, and they're too soft for me. These are my favourites. I was given one by a guitarist in an American band (don't remember his nor the band's name, but we shared stage with them during the Winter Olympics back in 1994). They're bigger than Dunlop's jazz picks, but a bit smaller than the regular nylons. Not many shops carry them (probably because PickBoy's other carbon picks have a marihuana plant printed on them, I guess...), but IMO they're the best ones. And everybody knows you're not supposed to smoke your picks, by the way Anders | |

Anders hmmm. a substitue comes to mind... Do you like the Dunlop black nylon 1.00 m's ?? my buddy plays a 6118 with powertrons, 11gs nickels into a tophat king royale (ac30) head into a vibroking closeback with V30s... For some reason those huge ass picks make an amazing difference in his sound.

Don't know what my "issue" is, but they've become too soft... although they're basically the same gauge as my carbon favourites. I find it easier to adjust my attack with the carbons than with the Dunlop nylons, although I use softer picks for acoustic stuff. I don't have a problem getting the PickBoys, though - we carry them at work But as "responsible adults", we too stopped carrying the ones with the marihuana plant... Anders

| thats a picture of my guitar a 6120 Brian Setzer signature model (ssu) and if you look closely at the bottom lefthand side you will notice a pick stuck on there , well this is a pick the Brian flicked in to the crowd after he finished Rock This Town during the Glasgow 2005 Rockabilly Riot tour and I was lucky enough to catch it https://2img.net/h/i666.photobucket.com/albums/vv23/mattyboy_2009/DSC00166.jpg | |
