TGIF!!! Sometimes you just get a little toooo saturated with all the Setzer Hullabaloo and need to sit back with a nice 12oz. beverage (try a Heffen. w/ orange slice) turn up your speakers and watch this ol' cat play some good old "Hello Mary Lou"... I just had to smile, he's the real deal from the days we only read about:

I'm still waiting that somebody in UK gives me a crate of Carling delivered at my door! ;-) That would make my night

hi tv, um, when you say Orange Slice are you talking about the soda drink? 'cause we dont' have that one here, not even Shasta! I miss that soda soo much! I can taste it right now mmmm
a piece of orange, like in "slice and dice"..perhaps I should have said lemon wedge but that would sound more gay than fruiting the beer. Fruity beer is against man law. ..but hell with it, a friggin slice of orange in a Heffenweizer beer, 'tis indeed nice... Its a venial sin.

Cool artwork, but I'll stick with the gorgonzola olives in my martini!

TV,
Thanks for putting that clip up on the board. I wish he was in my local house band! I like the look he gets on his face when he really digs in around 1:50. I watched his Red River Rock, too ... terrific!

TV - If you're mixing gin - Bombay Safire. If vodka - Pravda. I like 'em both!

Pravda is better than Goose. You can't beat Goose for versatility but I prefer Pravda's flavor. There is also a new product out there called Tito's, which is made in Texas. There is a neat story there about the guy who started the company. Anyway it's 6 times distilled, cheap, and good!

HA! No, it's me. I own the company. I am offering discounts to Loungemembers that own and operate restaurant establishments. Would you like for me to ship your order today?

Hmmm...perhaps samples should be sent to fellow Loungemembers who enjoy a good dirty martini?

Tavo, you're right: fruity beer goes against manhood ;-) However, wheat beer with a bit of squeezed lemon is... paradise!
