I was about asking the same, TV... I tought, I was even sure, Brian was going to play one or two songs from his coming album, as he has often done it since the beginning. Curious... Anyway, it's a nice setlist. There was more crowd at Montreal than in Ottawa for what I have read.

| I was hoping for more details about the Canadian Setzer experience. Maybe Jon should re-title the thread " Shoot oot to all the Canadians, to account for the accent! We Have Ways of Making You Pronounce the Letter "O"-a-billy | |

if you uploaded them to your myspace site, you just drag the photo up into the URL and then a new window should open with just the picture and an address ending in .jpg highlight and copy, then paste into the photo tag on the toolbar.. all to say you can accomplish the same thing with your server, doesnt have to be myspace. thats just my photo dump of choice

| Alright...now for a quick review. The sound in Montreal was quite piss poor for the first 6 songs of the set. The guitar was barely there...same for the vocals. However when we moved up to the stage...it seemed better. The set list in this posting is not entirely accurate. There was only 1 encore. And as Tavo mentioned, initially I was a little dissappointed there was nothing from the forth coming album. However, it was a little like seeing a "best of" the BSO...which was cool. I had not heard him do 49 Mercury Blues..(although he may have when I saw them last in a non-Christmas show...1999..I think) but I don't remember. Also seeing him do "I Won't Stand In Your Way" with the baritone like on the dvd was great. Guitar order to help follow along on the pictures was the same for both nights. Lime Gold Hot Rod, Orange 6120, Red Hot Rod, Baritone, Orange 6120. I have to say that Brian's playing in Ottawa on the Saturday night was easily STILL the best I've heard him play. The solo in Jump, Jive and Wail was jaw droppingly amazing...I swore several times. In the pictures, if the girls are wearing gold...its Montreal. The best part of the weekend, as I'm sure many of you ladies would attest, was as follows. So at the end of the show, as Brian often does, he came across the front of the stage shaking out-stretched hands, and stopping twice to sign a gretsch pick guard and a picture. I was on the "Tony" side of the stage(when in three piece mode). When he got to me, he grabbed my hand, THEN HE FIXED MY HAIR!!!!!!!! I'm not gay (not that there's anything wrong with that) but I did nearly collapse. I just looked at my girlfriend, and pretended to...oh how she laughed at my complete joy. Enjoy it Europe...you're next, I believe. You will not be dissappointed! | |
