Hey guys,
Why is this so professionally shot and why don't we have a dvd of this tour? I remember seeing him do Gloria on this tour and nearly died, I thought it was that good.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGhYZ6CdK1E

Good question!
Maybe because The Brian Setzer Orchestra's first official dvd wasn't untill 2001 with 'Live In Japan'. Which makes the 1999 World Tour too early to consider. Yes, if they have the whole concert, the quality is great so maybe at a future date this past will be released. Like The Mon Jazz was.

I can only guess, but I've seen all the clips from this concert (the user kmp1967yt has uploaded the entire show on youtube), and there's a few technical errors that may be the reason why it hasn't been officially released. This is the show where Brian's guitar cuts out during the ending of Sleepwalk, around 3:50
And during the third verse of Hawaii 5-0, Mark Winchester plays a few wrong notes (probably the only times that's ever happened! )
On the other hand, this is what kmp1967yt wrote as a comment to one of the questions asked on youtube:

Hi ! thanks , I' m glad you like it. These are not DVD-rip. I rip from my old old video tapes. ...ha-ha-ha. I've recorded this video sauce from Japanese TV broadcast . Sorry , I don't know where you can buy it. I'm really sorry .
So it's probably another one of those "lucky Japanese fans"-moments - I mean, where else do they show an entire Brian Setzer Orchestra concert on TV? After the Montreal show in '95, when/where has that ever happened ...?

A BSO gig was filmed in Finland in the 90's but it was never broadcasted cause the sound quality was bad, something happened during the filming. The producer told me this couple a years ago.

I guess that's why it's called 'live' If that's all that's stopping this being on dvd then it's a cryin' shame.
Brian looks a lot younger in the Hawaii 5 o clip....the sleepwalk clip he looks a bit older like in 2001.....but i see he's wearing the matching trousers to that red top. Are we sure it's the same show/year? Soz my puter won't play these clips properly.

I have this entire show on DVD and it's on Ebay UK or France sometimes... the bootleg CD of this gig is called Stray Cat Swing. I really enjoy it.
I also think that this show should be officialy released, as well as they did with One Rockin' Night. Even if Mark played a few wrong notes or Brian had a couple of tech glitches during Sleepwalk. Bernie Dresel, made the wrong intro to Rock This Town, thinking it was time to play As Long As I'm Singin...
