Hi, I think Setzer's new instrumental cd is absolutely brilliant, but that's just my personal opinion. However, as with artists in general, we should never really judge them on just one particular work , but instead on their entire work, their entire output considered as a whole. With Setzer we can do this since he has been recording music and making it available to us, the public, for about 30 years, and there is now a good body of work by which we can judge him . To make things short, it is difficult not to agree that by considering everything he has ever recorded from day one, we must surely now rate him amongst the top ( maybe 10 ? ) great living rock/rock n roll guitarists of our times.

I got my cd in the post today, really enjoying it so far. I'll hopefully have a full review up and written over the long Royal-weekend!
