Does any one know how Brian has it tuned? My baritone is tuned to B (B,E,A,D,F#,B) low to high. I know some guys use an A tuning. I can't really tell, but it sounds great!!!

I'm 100% sure it's in C: C, F, Bb, Eb, G, C (low to high)

His (or Rich Modica's at that time) TVjones C melody baritone Spectrasonic was tuned as Anders indicated. Although its not really a "baritone" guitar in the traditional sense as its falls under a short scale baritone. Standard baritone is a "perfect fifth" below standard tuning and is usually in A or sometimes B"perfect 4th".

I believe Setzer liked Modica's C-melody because he could play in first pos. E while technically singing in C( its cool that you could throw a capo on the 3rd fret for standard) something like that....

my nipples still get perky everytime I hear him play that thing on the live in japan DVD.

jealous of that tone machine man!!

when he starts off with "I won't stand in your way" and progresses into the Trio stuff. Wow. That DVD is just great. I have a baritone Les Paul I tuned it to C and it sounded pretty darn good.

The tone from the C Melody on that song is great! Not to mention the playing is fantastic.
