| Hmmm, that's not a very difficult one, at least the rythm part. I am not a guitar player but I know the chords used for that song are E, A & B Many songs from Rockabilly Riot have that pattern and some of them also include D chord too. |

| Okay, so if someone doesn't play guitar, then how can.... nevermind. Slow Down is indeed in the key of E. The chords are E, A, and B7. | |

| Hey Tavo, I play the drums but I can play some chords on the guitar... nothing important; I know that because one day I was toying with my brother's guitar and somehow I picked out that song by accident... I can play Bring It Back Again and that's it... though I must admit I've studied music and piano for some years |

*high school drummer raises hand* Granted, it took me 17 years between instruments.

| LOL, I have no patience enough to learn how to play the guitar, I just can't. I still prefer the sticks and all that rockabilly beat!!
I always liked Slim Jim but after seeing Bernie Dresel live a couple of times... what can I say??? Probably not the best drummer, but sure the best musician... kind of like Ringo Starr (another big influence) who played according to the music. |

| What is the difference between a drummer and a pizza?? ....a pizza feeds a family of four ps. seriously the world needs more good drummers, nail down those paradiddles. When I was 19 I use to go down to disneyland every night in the summer and catch Buddy Rich often playing in the carnation plaza.. He is/was a legend and I think Bernie is right along those lines.. We have really really missed his presence in BSO, but its been nice running into him at the NAMM shows... good man! | |

| I know this one, but it's not really good:
You see a group of friends (who are in a band)... who is the drummer?? The one who's walking behind!
Sounds a bit silly, but it means that the drummer cannot consider himself an artist whereas the other bandmates can, because they can play music and the drummer can't... |

| I agree with you, Brett, and the one that goes along the lines of: how do you know the drummer is knocking on the door? because the knocking is speeding up! |

| How do you make a guitar player stop playing?
By giving him sheet music^^
It's a pity many musicians can't read music. I have difficulties writing stuff down without a guitar in my hand, just from my mind but I have no problems reading sheet music as long as it's not too complicated, then I need some time to figure it out.

| Hmm, going back to reality a little bit I don't know why drummers have that fame! I think it's no more than a stereotype (and of course I know we're having a giraffee in this thread) but I actually consider drummers to be pretty intelligent, at least the ones I've known. Maybe the concentration of smart drummers was in my area, LOL ;-) |
