Guessing - 1982 French television - before the 'Rock Paris' concert. Brian has his 'black' hair and of course it's 'Baby Blue Eyes'. Wish i'd seen it in '82.....i needed to see things like that instead of just looking at 'Gonna Ball' and playing air guitar!

Probably one of the coolest clips I've seen of the Cats. Brian is so damn cool , man if I wasnt 100% heterosexual ,I couldnt be held responsible for my crimes. Wasn't Baby Blue Eyes released as a single in Europe.....maybe this is a promo video ? ? ? Anybody got any ideas ? I forbid all other discussion on any subject whatsoever until this matter is concluded to MY satisfaction. Not too many clips of the IceMaiden Lee rocker smiling in the early days.

I imagine they were sick to death of lip synching already at this early stage and decided to let off some steam. If it actually aired then good for whatever show or tv station had the guts to let themselves be lambasted like that. Love to see this kinda stuff, makes all three of them seem a lot more human. I about lost it when Brian was playing the back of the guitar!

Hi Nietsk, if I remember correctly, on that yellow sticker was written something like : "I'd rather be better on my Harley"

That's a really fun video; really captures their youthful, raucous, rebellious attitude. There is so much irony in Brian's actions, it's really hilarious. I love the way he & Jim are scratching each other's heads! It's that rude-dude-but-ya-know-ya-luv-me tude that I remember best from those far away, early days. Thanks for posting this!

My favorite Stray Cats song. A perfect cover of a classic.
That was very cool - easily one of the best videos they ever made. Thanks for finding it.
Whoever directed and edited that clip obviously had a great sense of humor.
I loved it when the Cats used to open with Baby Blue Eyes. The way they would extend the introduction was a perfect start to their shows.

"Platine 45" was a great TV show hosted by a funny-strange-cool guy named Jacky! And I wouldn't be surprised if this Jacky asked the Cats this kind of strange clip. BTW, I love it 'cause that's also the rock n' roll spirit!!
