Got the news from my buddy Pistol Pete today on the way home from work. Nearly drove off the road!! I'm praying this turns into a bigger tour down under. Yeah baby!!!

This is awesome!!!

The blues fest generally has a lot of Aussie blues and roots musicians, like Ash Grunwald, Xavier Rudd, Angus and Julia Stone (you guys probably never heard of them).. Byron Bay is also a very 'interesting' place, so this is going to be one hell of a gig!!

The official Byron Bay Bluesfest website lists the band as
Setzer's Rockabilly Riot, and yeah, it's quite a lineup they have so far
(The Pogues!)

I think its time I paid Oz a visit for Easter, that be fun.

And no, I won't be moving back. If I could afford it I would definitely go back to visit though!! Don't think that'll be happening....

I was joking about your moving back to Oz again. The reason for me to say this was that you saw the Cats in Oz and like 2 or 3 months later, Brian was doing this Doheney Blues Festival and you happened to move just in time for the show, if I am correct (at least to what you were posting here)... LOL, wouldn't it be nice all the fans changing places depending on where Brian was playing??
