I'm hoping for a live dvd/cd package from this tour. Isn't it about time we heard something about the next project?

This tour has been a world tour... It deserves a live DVD with some pieces from the four continents !! It would be great and could help us for waiting for the next Rockabilly Squad's studio album !

Oh and I work at a Youth Centre and we get regular shipments of gig posters to put up in the centre. I was hoping that we'd get some Setzer tour posters so I could take some home, but alas no luck If anyone else in Aus has a 'spare' poster they want to give/sell me then let me know
Kid.

They played Folsom Prison Blues, did they do that everywhere else?
Kid, even Pistol Pete can't track these posters down and that's saying something!!!

Where do I start? Rushed from work straight to the airport, nearly missed the flight due to the Friday afternoon traffic, it was a frantic rush! Anyway, got to Sydney thank God and after a quick bite it was straight to the show. I waited 17 years for my dream to come true in 09, and it did 10 times over, seeing Brian live was something I dreamt about nearly every night. And now here I was seeing him again in 2012. Now, last nights show, it was just unbelievable, WOW! What a rockin, fun, wild night, just mind blowing. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd ever experience anything better then the Stray Cats in 09 but I have to say this was even better! Brian just blew me away man. I left thinking to myself, "The guy is so bloody incredible". From Brian playing the bass to the two drum kits and rockin piano, there was nothing the show didn't have. The Sydney crowed were terrific, the atmosphere was sensational. But us Melbournians will be even louder on Monday & Tuesday nights. I'm still on such a high! How lucky and blessed Australia are we to have Brian come down here twice in three years? Words cant express how happy its made me! Now it's back to Melbourne to see 2 more shows. My Adelaide friends are going to be along side me for another two incredible nights of Brian tearing it up! I wouldn't trade what I experienced and what I'm going to experience for all the money in the world!!! Thank you Brian!Â

In Kansas City (and elsewhere) they tacked Folsom Prison Blues on to Slow Down. It was awesome! I really enjoyed Kevin McKendree on acoustic guitar! After the tune, Brian played and sang the low-reaching line "blow my blues away..." and chuckled, "Man, I couldn't reach that low note 5 years ago."
Anyone have an Aussie setlist? Brian doesn't deviate too much from town to town, unless there's a special date or anniversary around. In Japan, he's added Eddie Cochran tunes on Eddie's birthday and one year added some Buddy Holly to the setlist on or about February 3rd (the day the music died.)
Here's the stock US list - similar to Japan:
Ignition '49 Mercury Blues This Cat's on a Hot Tin Roof Drive Like Lightning 8-Track Slow Down Folsom Prison Blues Put Your Cat Clothes On Blue Moon Of Kentucky Pick Pocket Rumble in Brighton (w/ SJP) Runaway Boys (w/ SJP) Sexy & 17 (w/ SJP) Stray Cat Strut (w/SJP) Cry Baby (w/ SJP) Fishnet Stockings (w/SJP)
Encore 1: Rock This Town (w/ SJP)
Encore 2: Seven Nights to Rock (w/ SJP)
I realize it's tough or even not that important to keep track of a setlist when you're so excited about the show, but using the above list as a reference, what differences are there in the Aussie setlists?

Yeh! Set list seems to have been the same all over the place, including Folsom Prison...
I heard that Great Balls Of Fire and High School Confidential were included too

I'm thrilled that Brian is using more songs with the great Kevin McKendree on piano. When I saw him last year, I thought Kevin wasn't used nearly enough - I definitely missed the piano intro on "Rock This Town."
Historically, it's cool that Brian is playing a couple of songs from The Killer, Jerry Lee Lewis. In February 1958, Jerry Lee Lewis, along with Buddy Holly, toured Australia, giving Australia some important moments in the early history of Rock-n-Roll. While in Australia, they picked up on a big record, "Wild One," by Australia's own Johnny O'Keefe. Upon their return to the States, Buddy and the Crickets, with drummer Jerry Allison leading the band under the alias "Ivan" recorded and released a version of the song, renaming it "Real Wild Child." Around the same time, Jerry Lee Lewis recorded "Real Wild One" at Sun Studios. For some reason, the recording sat unreleased until the 70s. Today, it has become a nearly iconic song, recorded by everyone from Joan Jett to Iggy Pop. But it all goes back to the young Aussie Idol Johnny O'Keefe and that tour with Buddy Holly, and Jerry Lee Lewis. Very nice for Brian to bring the Killer back to Australia. Perhaps he'll consider bringing Real Wild Child back to the setlist before leaving Oz.

Pretty much the same setlist. The only difference was Great Balls of Fire that I can remember and it was the complete group playing it. Brian did the same thing with Folsom after the song.
Can't say I recall High School Confidential, I don't even know that song by title. Is it a cover??
I was stuck at the front so I had no way of doing a setlist. I might try some creative setlisting in Melbourne, don't know what yet, but I'll come up with something.
I'm with you Sam, awesome awesome show!! I've dubbed it the best show I've ever seen. It's going to be a great night Monday, sadly I couldn't stick around for Tuesday. I even got an email with a number of tickets reduced to $65!!!!!

Setzerado, according to this review, Setzer dedicated Blue Moon of KY to Earl Scrugs, the banjo player ;.)

I found one about 6 weeks ago and grabbed it...haven't seen one anywhere in Adelaide. I have a friend whom owns a company that puts posters up for 90% of upcoming shows/bands/album launches etc and she didn't get the gig. She searched for me and found some but they had been ripped in half BEFORE being put up as to discourage people ripping them down...BUT...she did ring me the other day to stay she had tracked down a few new unused/put up posters...never doubt Pistol Pete...
