So far, this is a lot of fun.
I got a nice sheet of 5'x5' 3/4" 13-ply baltic birch
...and cut it up to look like this!
The tools I used were a circular saw, miter saw, t-square and Dremel for the baffle hole (I really overworked the Dremel... but I didn't really have a good option. Had a jigsaw, but the cut would have been as nice). I got it to a tolerance of just over 1/32".
All done, it will look like this!
Mesa style black tolex for the darker outside. Fender style smooth blonde tolex for the face. Vox style black diamond grill cloth.
