You guys crack me up! There should be a law against christmas starting before the 24th december! Even then i'm looking forward to 6 pm on that day. Working boxing day too. It's tough at the bottom. But seriously, great stocking fillers. I just wish xmas would hurry up and end....the biggest build up to nothing....ever! I shouldn't complain....we started playing christmas songs at work in august two years back.....and i've hated christmas ever since! Once your kids have grown up, there's very little to look forward too. Unfortunately it's become just another date on the calender. Rant over The BSO extra dvd will be coming off the shelf soon! | maaan, serious bahhumbug RS... I am feeling bad for you. I was born on christmas day at 12:30am 1964 and every christmas since has been big time festive in my life. My own parents, my grandparents, and now in our home with 2 kids... it RULES!!! I mean c'mon dude its a perfect excuse to turn the house inside out with lights in every room and bizarre decorations, plus everybody is SINGING man!! Party time in "christmas land" as my 5yr old calls it. Hell I even fell off the ladder yesterday putting up the lights after dark! Although I didnt get to destroy Todd and Margo's yuppy house! ha!

the ladder yesterday putting up the lights after dark! Sorry to hear about your fall T.V. Christmas is the worse time for accidents....er....i don't mean your birthday by that! That really came out wrong! Hope you're ok. Ah, yes, it must be exciting for a five year old. I wish you and your family all the best. No we don't put many lights up, or a tree....Daniel only pulls it down and bites the balls. We usually have a few decorations on the ceiling, but we have to be carefull. I'm not against people enjoying themselves, my kids are past all that, but they do enjoy watching me chase around the room stopping my son from destroying their presents! I've usually had enough by 4 in the afternoon, so whatever the weather, i take him for a walk around the block. He usually sits in the road and a few cars have to dodge him....exciting eh? Sorry to derail the thread! I haven't heard the said item, i'm sure its fab!

| I'm sure Daniel presents some challenges to which most families cannot relate. And if you work in any sort of retail business, it can be the most stressful time of the year. While everyone is taking time off to be with their families, retail workers often have the longer hours. But I hope Dec 24 and 25 can at least provide a bit of respite from the chaos of the season.
I got a little grief today for buying the HBC CD. Apparently, it's one less gift idea that's out there for me. But honestly, who wants to wait until Christmas Day to get a Christmas CD? I'd rather rock it through the 12 days of Xmas and beyond. Sure, I don't want to hear Bing Crosby and Johnny Mathis until mid-late December. But when you have some evergreen rockers like the three tunes I've heard so far, mid-November is not too early. The fellas are rockin' through some sweet harmonies on what I've heard so far. I can't wait 'til the mailman delivers the disc (hopefully, later this week.)
Pick Up On It,

I know people like you! Just remember, there's always coal for that ol' stocking! My brother bitched about a gift I gave him one time....he's gotten white dress shirts for X-mas ever since. Ooops!! Did I ruin the surprise??? Hope he's not a lurker out here!!! ha ha ha ha!!!

| I haven't quite made it through the entire disc yet - stupid substitute postal employee was EXTRA late today!
I would say this to the boys of the Hillbilly Casino: If y'all had been around 7-8 years ago, you might have spared us the Brian Setzer Christmas Orchestra. One listen to this, and The Brian might have said, "Y'know what? We can't top this. Let's go get classical music out of our system instead!"
More to come...

| To be fair, the BSO Christmas albums are pretty rockin'. Hopefully, Brian won't feel the need to do a trio or Nashvillains Christmas album. The best rockabilly Christmas album has already been recorded. Hillbilly Casino's Hang Your Stockings and Say Your Prayers is that album.
Holy crap! I just snorted eggnog. Carl Perkins' lick from Your True Love just jump-started Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
Brilliant!
