| Hi all. I think we can all agree that 18 years is too long. Do all you Aussie's think it's too early to start a petition for more shows??? Here's the promoters website: Michael CoppelThe 4th arrow on the top is Tour Wishlist, click on that and then add the Band we want to see. With all the sold out shows, I'm hoping the promoter's get the message we love these guys and to get them back here ASAP. If you think I'm being greedy, hey, it was 18 years since the last Cat's concert, so I'm getting in early!! Greed is Good!! Gordon Gekko-a-pony | |

| So the 3 bands we should list would be the BSO, Nashvillains and Stray Cats, right? | |

Yep If you have extra email address, Lee Rocker Band, Head Cat. If'd be brilliant (but not practical) to have The Cat's play on one night. Brian, Lee and Slim Jim solo on different nights and do it all in one hit. A dream I know, but man that would be cool!!!

| I like the way you think, especially with respect to solo acts. I would leave yourself a reminder on your computer, or on a calendar, for 6-9 months, or even a year from now, and lead the charge again, as the promotions company might dismiss these early requests as "drunk dialing."
What about this idea: A Cats Cruise. 4-5 days on a boat with the Stray Cats, various incarnations, and a few support acts (Hillbilly Casino, Dibbs and the Detonators, Darrel Higham, Imelda May, etc.) offering up 3-4 shows a day - possibly shorter sets, an unplugged set, the Lee Rocker Band, Head Cat, the Nashvillains, maybe the BSO - if it isn't a logistical nightmare. Blues cruises are fairly popular, some artists headline their own trips - I think the Barenaked Ladies just finished their third cruise.
They definitely would have to play Cruisin'. I can see it now: Cruisin' With the Cats
Start printing the t-shirts!

| I like it Rickabilly. That'd be one hell of a cruise and no escape either. | |

| Great idea peoples, will do my bit to see them "Stray Cats" bring it back again.
Will even consider going to the US to see em once they announce something ?? for next year ??. Even though Im not a good flyer, a perfect excuse to go see them, some sprintcar racing and some chevy car shows.

| See, I'm thinking the rockabilly booze cruise could leave from Australia. Of course, if we all converged upon our Australian friends, there's a fair chance Pete and company would show us such a great time that we'd run the risk of missing the ship's departure.

Isaac, your bartender-billy I can guarantee you if Pete was in Julie McCoy's skirt and shoes (now there's a sight!!), we wouldn't miss the boat. You heard of the soup Nazi? Pete would be the Tour Nazi René-no soup for you-a-pony

| Didn't we have this thread a few years ago? No sooner did I suggest a Setzer cruise than Budge and Fuz and everyone were talking about who would be Ginger and who would be MaryAnne. There didn't seem to be much discussion about who would be the male castaways.

T "Quest Survivor" Man Hey T.man. Good to have you back (if you're the T I'm thinking of) We seemed to have moved from Gilligan's Island to the Love Boat. Don't know where we're going from here, but a cruise is a great idea, well without Pete in a skirt of course. Later T René

| Since it's an imaginary cruise at this point, you two can imagine that you don't get seasick.
Maybe the Love Boat can cruise over to Fantasy Island, and the two of you can fly down and meet us there.
