Jon mentioned Deke in the thread about Brian's Danelectro guitar/bass and Webby and I just were talking about him too... I found this cool video of Deke on YouTube talking about rockabilly music, interspersed with some nice footage of Deke Dickerson and the Eccofonics playing. I forgot how much I like this guy. "Lady Killin' Papa," "My Name is Deke," he is so much fun. Talented as all get out too.

We saw him last fall in Green Bay - great, fun show. His album (I think it's his latest) The Melody is a keeper.

He's a terribly good entertainer as well as a nice guitar player, musician, singer, worker and as a person he's lovely.

Real talented guy. He knows the job, really. I've liked how he talked about music too. Thanks Andi, it's a discovery for me.
