I've Been Banned. . .HUH???

Hi Kiki, yes (back on pg 1) I did state Tommy replied to my e-mail that he did not know what happened, and he did not ban me. And yes, I checked again today and I am still banned. It's okay, I don't mind being in exile.

Land o' goshen! It appears I have been unbanned. . .or is it debanned? Well it's just a message board miracle is what it is. Though seriously, it seems like a lot of comments are missing from the OC performance threads, as I remember seeing them, so something major must have happened. I know the "spook" factor has been explored here, and with good reason. Ya know I was this close to dragging out my Ouija Board. I know my husband is really relieved. He hates it when the ectoplasm starts flying. . .

I'm sorry to hear that Kitty. I host a site myself and sometimes comments just disappear! And being banned must feel horrible. You're done nothing wrong. And i'm sure Tommy will sort it. He's a good guy. Best of luck. Let us know how you get on.

I was banned from BS forum also - I never got a response from Tommy, he also deleted himself from my friends on Myspace as well as my daughters. Tried to send him a messaage asking why, but he changed his myspace so you have to be his friend to send him a message. Not sure why - I made a comment that the guys looked tired during their first show, but I cant imagine that being the reason. They were traveling and with time time change of course they're going to look a little tired.

Quite a number of people got banned from the official forum for what they thought was no reason. I spoke to many of them and the one thing they all had in common was that they mentioned that Brian looked tired or unwell... SO DON'T SAY IT!!

Kid I couldn't agree with you more. The one thing of many that I love about Brian is his great sense of style especially his various suits/jackets.

Wow. I am surprised. I realize that any forum linked to the official site of an musician has an inherent responsibility to be fiercely protective of the artist, but getting banned over showing some concern for Brian's well-being seems a little harsh. I'm going to hope there was more to it than that. Then again, speculating about someone's health, a very guarded piece of information these days, is probably irresponsible.

In any case, both of these forums are created and maintained by certain individuals, and they are welcome to run it the way they see fit. It is a misconception that there is freedom of speech on these boards. So behave.

This really is like finding out how hot dogs are made... yuck!

Haha well Rick that was just the common instance in each person I spoke to who was banned, so I personally made that connection between that and getting banned... I actually thought that maybe I had been banned when I couldn't get on the forum this morning (the setzer site update with the news hadn't reached my end yet).. but alas, no one can get on at the moment.. I wonder when/if the other forum comes back will we have to start from the beginning again or will all our posts and stuff still be there?..

I can HONESTLY, truly, and wholeheartedly say I've only been banned from ONE place in my entire life! And the other forum was not it.

I, too, would like to post my Brian opinion for the record. I think he only gets more handsome year-to-year, and his musical talents continue to amaze me every time I listen to a song. I've only had the chance to see him perform once, and I would be heartbroken if the stupidity of other people in the world made it so that was my last chance. I can't wait to hear what he's going to astonish his fans with on his next CD!
