BSO to play Finland in July

Ta tåget från Helsinki tror jag blir enklast.

There's a special festival train from helsinki to pori and back. all pori hotels are packed as far as i know.

Thats a pity,have been looking into the Pori gig.
The traveling seemed hard. dont fancy hanging about for trains etc.
Its not nice on your own.

Nice article on today's leading finnish newspaper. BS is going straight to Iceland for vacation after Pori gig. "I like cold"

We got a taxiload of folks going for BSO concert today.
Me, my brother with the missus and some other friends.
It's gonna cost a little but no way we're going to miss this.



Can't remember what year it was the last time BSO did the Pori Jazz Festival,
something like 9 or 10 years ago. And for sure, we was there then.

So, I know today it's goin' to be the coolest day of the year.

it was 1997. In that article BS says that he could not sleep during the week, beaceuse sun was up all the time, so
he "drank himself through that week, becaus that's what they do here " One song title from the new album is gonna be The king of the whole damn world.

Great show yesterday in Pori : nice ambiance, very cool... I decided just friday afternoon to try to go, bought a ticket on the internet, booked a flight from brussels to Helsinki on saturday morning, then rent a car at Helsinki airport, drove 300 km to go in Pöri... and finally arrive just in time for the show (I also have seen Stanley Clarck & MArcus Miller : waow!). I was seated close to the stage, just in the middle : nice position. The show was exactly the same than 3 days ago in Amsterdam, except Brian hasn't played the Guitar Rag... After the show, as sun was always there (10pm), I waited a moment in frontstage when all the musicians came to talk to the fans : great moment! And what a news : they have recorded the show (the sound engineer said this to me), so a live cd is on his way...
I'm just back in Brussels now, I will post pics & video asap... Have a gretsch Sunday all!

I think not, they usually record these shows for a finnish tv company.

Of course I seen it...thank you...It is strange, because on stage he has a shirt...It seems that after his performance, he handed his jacket on the tee-shirt? Not to catch cold?

Lisa, I've make this shot about 40 minutes before BSO starts gig. I've just mentioned, that big bus arrived to backstage, and then, someone in the black glasses quitely go upstares. I've used maximum zoom on my camera, and see, that it was Mr. Setzer.

About you question - no, I've not seen Brian with just a tee-shirt - only with jacket over t-shirt.

About your answer it's very interesting but strange because on the other picture he has a black shirt!
Tell me exactly at what moment he has a jacket over t-shirt... before or after the black shirt?
It is a game( but not a joke) that was between french... we want to become the first scholars specialists of Brian Setzer clothing!
