The only thing that I won't see is why some collectors (not my case), have different editions of the same album/single whatsoever when the design is exactly the same. I mean, I do have the promotional version to The Knife Feels LP and the only difference is that it comes with the promotional gold stamp on the top right corner, so, what's the point in having it another time??

That has always intrigued me...

BTW Rass, is the BSO 7" In The Mood w/ sleeve original?? Or is the PS a fake???

It's the original I hope, just won it today via Ebay. I never seen this before. I have had the single without cover since 99, and saw it for the first time with a cover last week. This and the Vavoom album is not even in the Japanes book released a few years ago (what a great book)

Collecting the same LP's from different countrys, well I guess it's a bit like stamps, in the end you want them all.

I've been behind this recording for ages, but never been lucky enough to get it and now it's just mine for 30 Euro with postage from France... can't believe it!!! This edition is the same as the one from Singapore posted on the briansetzer.com discography section.

BTW Jess, is that 12" Rebelene that you got from Ebay??
I remember bidding on that one years ago, but I've withdrew my bid since I wasn't 100% whether it was signed by Brian or just a fake....

Nope the signed Rebelene I got in my collection, I was lucky to get signed the day after Brian played in Copenhagen in 2001.

Thanks for congratulating me; I've been quite lucky because that's the last copy the dealer had and instead of selling it on Ebay, he agreed to sell it to me at a fair price. Next target: Stray Cats Korean LP!!

Next target for me is a 7" from Italy from 1982, can't even remember what's on it right now, maybe "Baby Blue Eyes" or something. But remember the cover, really cool. But I better be ready to pay another 100 US$ for it

I saw that Japanese promo not long ago in a Japanese store for 10.000 Yen and I was ready to get it a few days later, I was waiting to be paid for my summer job and a few days before I got my wages... the 7" was gone!! Dammit, but well, I don't mind at all; I've invested that money in a few Lee Rocker posters :-)

Jess, I've seen that Italian single not long ago on Ebay... and I think it's on auction at the moment, but can't tell you where as I don't remember.
I paid for that Italian 7" Rock This Town / Baby Blue Eyes (if you mean that one) just 10 Euro, but condition is very very poor, quite shitty in fact, but it's better than anything else. Now, I'm just aiming at getting a couple of singles in better condition. Thanks to a French brother I am sorting all that out. Awww, this is endless!!! When you think you got it all, there's always something new and if not, we the collectors start getting posters, magazines, memorabillia.... dammit! Why can't we just stop???

You so right, always something new to collect, that's why I'm only collecting vinyl only. Still spending way to much money, but then again, I think it will pay off good in 30 years, in case I sell the whole thing

I feel sorry for that guy, he wants to sell the collection but no one seems to be serious about it... but well, it's not easy to spend 3 million dollar for something that you don't even have time to listen to... I wonder whether there would be any Stray Cat rarity there....

One of the rarest things by the BSO that I've ever come accros with are a ouple of promotional tapes to Let's Live It Up and Since I Don't Have You. Quite unique and never thought they would exist.... what else is on that we don't know!

Sidelake Bob, aye, only one. Don't have more money to get 2 of them... besides, with one I am more than satisfied. Don't think that I am going even to listen to Lonely Ave on vynil when I already have the album since a couple of weeks ago; just for my collection, no more than that.

It'd be great if the packages were number as Choo Choo Hot Fish 10" or some stuff by 13 Cats (Slim Jim's former band) - the fact they are numbered add an extra value to the package.

Mine is 8.458 if I am right, can't remember the whole number but it's 84 something.... must say taht I got this 10" through a Japanese friend who traded quite a lot of his master collection for live shows ... notheneless, I don't mind the number it has as long as I have it.

Other item that I have numbered is a SCats bootleg called Runaway Kids (Tokyo 1981) and it's the copy number fifty something out of 250.
