I always have my doubts that this SUPER MINT Sun 45´s are real originals... specially after reading the super-fancy-cool, hard to believe stories of how these 45´s have been preserved and protected from aging due to unbelievable circumstances, or how they were found at some yard sale, or given by someone who worked at the record label or printing factory and saved some, and so on.
I am not saying this one ain´t real... but I´m always carefull.
I have bought 3 "supposed" originals on Ebay; my first one, Mystery Train, was once checked/inspected by Scotty Moore (needless to say I had him sign it), and he said "to me, this is original; I could be wrong, but it looks original to me", after looking at it from all sides, up and down, edges, wax, etc...
The second one I bought, looks original too... but the 3rd one was a rip off.
We are in 2010; they can be reproduced very easily...even the 3 push marks.
But man.... that auction went wild!!! $7,400.56 bucks!!!!!!!!!
