forgive my jackweed attitude toward the Fender Hot Rod solid state sounding tube amp.. I know I know I'm a big Jackweed but my ears and fingers force my mouth to say what it does.

I heard a snare drum, bass string clicking and someone yelling.
I like your living room demos best when it comes to a gretsch and nocturne example, especially your infomercial accent. It makes me want to buy stuff, save for vegemite

The nocturne brain seltzer on the David Letterman show! Of course barely visible on the edge of Pat Matera's pedal board(at 3:55 for sure). Pat's blue billy-bo seems to be on stage more and more when he's playing with Katy Perry
Subject: Acoustic Nocturne Sun Aug 29, 2010 9:36 am
For those whom need to know:
I played a unplugged Gig last night with my Rockband. Means no electric guitar just an acoustic Western Guitar. I used the Nocturne as a Preamp between guitar and our small PA. I didn`t use a amp. And what can i say it worked brilliant. This is really a great technique to have a fantastic sound with a acoustic guitar. Try it.

does your acoustic have a built in preamp?

yes, it`s a Takamine. Normally our singer plug the guitar directly into the desk. Yesterday i played the guitar the whole night. With the Nocturne the sound was more brilliant.
It was an small Art Exhibition where we were, that`s why we played unplugged...

Oh cool. I sort of figured you had a built in preamp for the piezo pickup. Those things need a very direct preamp straight out from them and THEN the nocturne will add some body and top. Finding the same thing with upright bass. btw.. a fender p=bass plugged into one of these get a fat growl like an old G&L L-000 or early EB sting ray.

I found it out by accident. I plugged my small Pedal board between the guitar and the PA because of the tuner. The Nocturne is still on it so i was thinking why not turning on. The pedal is really cool, it helped me so many times.

I think we're gonna have to create a videos section as posted videos are slowing my mac down on this site. I'm running cable internet too! hhmm..
just sharing the latest. Some of you guys have the original orange and purple pedals.. I decided to revisit those colors with a little twist on the graphics and add black with the same lime striping. So here is ratrod Ghoul Daddy
along with Chevy orange /black striping and monster purple in lime striping

That new Design looks Killer!!!!!!!I just bought an Octaver about a week ago, just to play around with for some bebop stuff etc. The difference between that thing with or without the Nocturne is like night and day!!!! It gets relly punchy and fat with that little Box of magic.
