here's whats up
dont worry, I've got something for you for Xmas to satiate that
okay it looks like she's ready to set sail. I've scratched the LED glowing knobs because those pot shafts are clear plastic to house the LED. I'm pretty sure these illuminated pots wouldnt hold up on stage for manic stomping.. (I've got a desktop Brain coming in jan w/ these cuz they are so cool)so. full size metal alpha pots are a must.
anyway I really appreciate the input to help me focus on why I even made one, for gretsch guitars. PCBs are ordered and sno-globe sparkle has been shot on the powder coated white boxes.. it'll be avail in the classifieds to order later tonight
btw.. Volume/Boost control inside to match unity gain. this trimmer is a must and if you dime it there is a massive boost from the jfet

Alright, there we are.
Too bad I bought a Supa Trem just hree months ago. So what´s the MUST HAVE reason for the Nailhead (apart from being a Nocturne product, that is pretty obvious for me)?
I like the little YouTube teaser:
and my Christmas wishlist is still empty...

I have a supatrem too and it uses the basic blackface fender opto isolater circuit. This Nailhead trem is a take off of your country's vintage 60s german schaller trem circuit and the 70s OZ trem. Just in a nice intuitive and useful layout but set up best for a gretsch guitar. Nothing earth shaking, I just like finding things that have been sort of forgotten by the way side or ignored. In this case transistor based tremelos tend to take a backseat to the swampy fender style trem.
The transistor trems are never insane just very nice and bubbly over the guitar and you can actually sing with your guitar and trem on while not being driven crazy about the pulse throbs timing. This one is pretty much on but since the LFO comes from capacitors dumping and filling up you get some organic pulsing. You know me, I find something I like for my own use and hotrod it for gretsch fans.

Just want to share that its been 5yrs since I first started this venture, 4 yrs ago though this month I took the very first orders here on this forum first! Thanks to the faithful 20 and to Nikko who literally gave me a Roland space echo to figure out how to do it!
Since then I've made 1200 nocturne pedals with the help of my family. Some celebrity folk now use them and a few have even been seen on the floor of Sun Studios.
Hope I can keep doing this for while!

Now that's funny, but you may be right! I can't believe it's been that long since you started production!

No, i`m still here and looking nearly every day what`s new. And i still love Nocturne products. Yesterday i found out the Blondeshell sounds great with 112 open cab loaded with a Jensen C12N. It sounds even better than my 15 inch cab loaded with a Weber neomag.
The Ubangi is still my overdrive peadal No.1 and we don`t need any discussion about the atomic brain. The brains became a standard of good sound worldwide.
For a few months i was at the Gretsch show in Hamburg. Fred Gretsch was there (btw. a very nice guy) and TV Jones. I was wearing a Nocturne shirt. First words by TV: " Oh, you know Tavo?" A german player came across that minute and said: "I know your videos about the Nocturne." Tavo, you and your pedals are famous! From So.Cal to Europe and down to Australia.

You are quite the Ambassador of Nocturne Products for Germany, they should give you your own gear show on television! btw.. I'd like to see that cab in action. It took me going through 4 different speakers to decide on the Weber California, no doping, screen cap, ceramic 15" for my combo.. now youre saying a 12" can handle being smacked by 45watts ?

I found out by accident. It`s a half open box (old marshall box). It´s good for a small stage. I still do prefer the sound of the 212 Fender Super Sonic box but for a lot of venues it`s too loud, too big and too heavy to handle. I need something smaller. And i want the old Rockabilly Sound from time to time. They were using small combos with 10 inch or 12inch speaker.
I will try to make a demo of it...
Cheers

Well, I'm still checkin in on ya every once in a while. It's awfully quiet in here, though....
BTW, my orange Brain Seltzer pedal (second batch, right...?) still resides on my pedal board. It's not leaving either.
