Neil Young fancies Les Pauls with a Bigsby....
He also digs a gretsch or two!
Pretty cool for a hippie in my book

Although I don't wanna hijack this thread more than necessary (oops, too late! ), here's my favourite Neil Young album. Not critically acclaimed, no huge commercial success, and as far as I can tell not a Les Paul (nor Gretsch) in sight. Although for a rockabilly album, there's WAY too little guitar solos. Still a pretty nice rockin' effort:
Back to topic. Bet he could put a Nocturne to good use, huh?

I almost forgot about that album. Musically, I think Mr. Young has been to the moon and back.

Yeah, me too, Tavo. We didn't have MTV back then (yet), but there was a series of programmes that showcased different musical genres, and one of the shows had videos from Robert Gordon, the Blasters, the Rockats, Polecats, Stray Cats AND Neil Young. I actually thought he was a rockabilly artist... ...untill I realized he was the same guy that did "Heart of gold" etc.

Bare mĂ¥ ha det Du mĂ¥ nok kjøpe deg Atomic du og før eller senere ;-)
Growing up watching headbangers ball with Mick Wall and this interview with JP and specially seeing the violin bow scene in the start of the program, I was sold on the Les Paul. The Song remains the same on VHS is part of the youth for me On the whole lotta love medley there are some really cooking rockabilly covers where I assume the epohlex kicks in. Killer sound!
Today, I think the G0 is the model which comes closest, lemon burst, to the Page model. Alot of Les Paul for the money. Those signature model of Page I can only dream of, and also the R9 reissues.

Hey hey,
these yellow ones look so ...fruity.
Good match for this summer. If I hadn´t just received this one (I actually have it for two weeks already, shame on me for not showing off earlier )
I might want one of those, too. But I LOVE my sparkly greenburst swamp thing with the two mean green eyes - finest B-movie styling - way cool! Compared to the Atomic Brain, my regular Brain classic looks pretty old-fashioned:
Soundwise it´s a major improvement, too. The ABBY modes gives my exactly what I was looking for: some extra loudness for soloing or fingerpicking without extra distrotion. Thabks again to JĂ¼rgen for his great demos on this pedal and to Tavo for ultra-fast and friendly service.
You can´t have too much brain!

those knobs really polarize its looks. put black ones on it and it looks lizard green.

Aaron Clark of the Blackshades (from Bowling Green Kentucky) is responsible for pushing me to make him a Nocturne Pedal to match his white falcon. So for Fathers Day why not a run of 10 Atomic Brains as a knod to the guitar I have yet to be able to own myself, so here is the Falcon White Atomic brain in X-ray White (a baked on powder coat finish) with metallic gold and black pinstripe graphics, two glowin red LEDs and white knobs!
gretsch gold knobs can be found at allparts.com if you want to get aggro.
btw.. here's Aaron in his first dem vid with his white falcon and gretsch playboy amp and falcon white dyno brain (the single channel version)

a blues guitarist friend of mine complained that the Rocktober Monster Purple was too "joker" and not enough "Batman" and begged me to change the pinstriping.
So.. I gave it black scallops and no lime.. just silver and black with clear chicken head knobs and purple LEDS.. this week only, get Chris's Gotham version of the Atomic Brain w/ free shipping ( i will refund the $15 ship charge upon purchase) This custom crusader look is available w/ free shipping until midnight OCT 31st!
note: please put "gotham" in the notes to seller in the paypal cart so I know you want this Halloween week special.
