kelley, you always have to answer all the e-mails even those who are not sent to you?
What I want to say, for Aussie, it is that knowing I even what as we can feel as emotion ONLY by going to see the concerts of our idols (I saw 3 Tours of Cats since 1981 and I always have this fabulous emotion in me) I really feel the emotion of Aussie Sam which really spent time with Brian it is of the happiness in the pure state and yes he gave me a little through internet. Thanks to internet and in concert of Cats last summer I really met fabulous people in Spain and in Ireland. Sweeden and Irish People who were on the Brian's Forum and nothing that by discussing we wanted to meet (we went to the Dublin concert without knowing that it was cancelled) and then we are seen again to us for the holidays of Christmas in spite of the distance of our countries! Then yes I understand better that nobody the emotion of Aussie which met his idol thanks to internet.
On the other hand you I have not envy for the whole to meet you, you remind me in Jeannie the person who created havoc on Brian's forum! Just for example when you say on a Forum of Fans that you the Brian Setzer Orchestra do not love! It is what that otherwise of the provocation?
And not please try any more to interpret the bottom of my thought you are anyway in quoted by the plate!

This just in, Stray Cats apparently played Sleepwalk last night! Last few nights there have been quite a few exciting setlist changes/additions! Whee! I'm so excited!

Just got home from Sydney after seeing the Cats twice there.. WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! AMAZING!! On both nights I was right at the front on the barrier in front of Jim, I found that Brian came over to that side of the stage alot.. There are literally no words to describe how I feel right now, and I still got two more gigs to go to!! I got a bunch of pics on my camera phone, just uploading them now to see if they are any good..
Oh yes Sleepwalk was played last night (Sydney Feb 24)..
The best part was seeing the looks on the Cats faces, they really seemed to be enjoying every moment of it.. and so was I!!!

WOOT! So glad to hear from you Kid! You (and other youngins) getting to see the Cats is probably one of the most important things to come out of this whole dang tour.
Now, I've succumbed to the Southern Aussies and will be in Melbourne on Sunday!!!! How 'bout you Kid?! C'mon, it'll be a party and a half!

Best night EVER!!
P.S. Have to admit the photo quality isn't the greatest, but it's pretty good for a 3 year old camera phone

I love, love, love the coverage y'all have provided here regarding the Aussie tour. Well done to Pete, Rene, and Andi for extending their tours. By no means does it replace the work of that mighty fine Maguire fellow, but it's still pretty freakin' cool.
Sorry you couldn't get closer to the stage, Kid! LOL! Tell us more!
It was great fun to read Sam's story. Those of us who have had similar experiences often don't write about them here, in part because it's one of those private moments that you will always treasure, but also because it may set a level of expectations among fans at upcoming performances. As long as everyone is going there to enjoy the show, without any expectation of something as cool as what Sam experienced, then the concert will be an enormous success. The Cats definitely deserve a enthusiastic send-off at the Melbourne shows. Anything else that happens is a bonus. But I completely understand Sam's excitement, and I am thrilled for him. As Sam can attest, the best moments are often the unplanned ones you don't see coming.
There was a lot of love shared here (and the other forum) during the Euro tour from the fans, but nothing like what we're reading here from the Aussie tour. I can't say I'm surprised. Pete, Kid, Rene, Sam, and Andi have all been enthusiastic fixtures on the Setzer forums since well before any of the tours were announced. I don't know if they impacted the decision to bring Stray Cats to Australia, but it certainly didn't hurt. Nicely done, Australia! You deserve it!
Looking forward to more fantastic accounts from Brisbane and Melbourne,
Vicarious-billy

Hey that was really nice Rick, thanks. Something I forgot to mention was that as I was chatting to Brian I asked him if it was ok to post on the forum the experiance I had. Brian said you post what ever you like and thanked me for asking him. What a guy. Bloody love him...
My feet are just starting to hit the ground lol...
