Just heard Firebird to open for Stray Cats Feb 21. Bass player played with BSO for a while. Gonna be a great show and I'm gonna be there!!

I'm pretty sure we only have one Stray Cats fan from Perth on the board and they only joined 2 days or so ago.

Haha yeahhhhhhh, I was pretty excited.. It's odd ya know, for ages the Aussie tour has been months and months away - then all of a sudden I'm a week out from seeing my first Stray Cats concert Shocked

Hi all,

Saw them last night in Perth - fantastic show! About 1200 -1500 people who were rockin along with them. I didn't get the set list down, but they opened with Rumble in Brighton, Rock this town was the last song of the set then a 4 (or 5?) song encore including I Fought the Law.

All three Cats were in fine form, Brian's voice is still exceptional and his guitar slinger chops are finer than ever. Lee and Jim were equally in fine form on their instruments, and all three did a fair bit of jumping around which the audience loved.

My friends daughters band "Brigette Handley & The Dark Shadows" is doing the support spot at The Enmore Theatre on the 23rd.

Hey guys, no im not dead...lol, just been moving house and its a bloody nighmare with little kids snapping at your feet the whole time. Anyway, i've been reading everything and cant wait to see the Cats.... see you all soon.

Lisa, I'm going to the Brisbane shows on the 26th and 27th, but Rene and Pete get to see them in Adelaide TONIGHT!!

I'm hoping to get some photos but I won't be able to take my good camera and I won't be in the press pit like I was in Europe, so chances are anything I get will suck Wink
