| Oh, well every time I've been to The Tivoli (for a concert) they've had a barrier that seperates the crowd from the stage - so is that space between the stage and barrier the press pit?.. I mean they always have a photographer or two running around in that area taking photos.. | |

The Satelites supported, and let me tell ya, even though they're friends of mine, they played that tight and well, that the Cats really had to pull it outta the bag to top them! And did they??

| Man o man !!!! what a show !!!!
Absolutely awesome, the guys seem overwhelmed by the crowds response. 2 encores, farrk it was just awesome. People I knew said exactly the same thing.
My wife took some fab pics. We were around the middle of the floor, I was the guy waving my crutches around in the air. (gotta crook knee)(bad timing)
At least we're going to the last show in Melb on March 1st. Knee will be better by then I hope.
Trying to work out how to post pics, when I do, will post some.
Geez I wonder if they will Bring it back again.

| Hi all. I can honestly say I have never seen a better rock show. 18 years is a long time, so my last memories of the Cat's had faded, but as soon as Rumble in Brighton started, it all came flooding back!!!! These three guys just make the most incredible music and you just can't believe the sound, so crisp and clear, who thought three instruments could sound like this? The energy from these guys too, wow!!!! I tell you, it was an incredible experience. I'm guessing there were around 1500 people there. I have never heard on Adelaide crowd get into a show like we did. The crowd made more noise than any show I've seen that had around 12000 people. Pete's wife said that Brian and Lee especially were visibly moved by the crowd, we never shut for the whole show. Brian even appeared to well up in the eyes at the end when they said their final goodbyes, although he did say we'll see you again!!!! It was truly a magical night. My wife has never seen them before, after the show she has said, "we should go see them play in the USA and have a holiday at the same time." Watch out guys and gals, looks like we may be taking a trip to the good ol' USA in the next couple of years!!! Best band I've ever had the pleasure of seeing!!! The day after was almost a day of depression. We waited so long for the day to come, then it's over. Wow, that hit hard!! I really hope they're going to do a DVD of some sort, these shows deserve it. The rest of you Cats and Kittens are in for a real treat. Anyway enough ranting. - Pistol Pete wrote:

In addition to the above setlist: 1. Before Cry Baby there was a finger picking solo From Brian. 2. Lee shared vocals with Brian on Cry Baby 3. Brian introduced Stray Cat Strut as Slim Jim Shuffle. Brian also offered his guitar for $100 then proceeded to raise the bidding He also faked throwing it into the crowd right in Pete's direction too, he must have almost had a heart attack By the way, my highlight.....Lust N Love!!!! I couldn't believe they played it, it was awesome!!! René-a-pony.
