Playing music together. Badly. Having a ball anyway. Potting flowers and putting watermelon seedlings in the ground. Walking to the top of the hill behind our house, sitting on a blanket and watching the sun set over San Diego.

Been working a lot for school over the last weeks (writing my final exams in two weeks). And Yesterday I finally got my guitar out of the case for a Gig again. And what a Gig! Awesome Setlist and the whole Bigband was absolutely wild! Setlist included Jump Jive, and Rock this Town. I have no clue how many Choruses my Solo took. Man that was absolutely what I needed!

That moment is an AWESOME thing, TV. Too bad neither of you say anything. Or play anything. But the grins are priceless. :-D

One of my favourite Bands is back!
The Darkness!!!!
For those who don't know them, they are like a crazy glam rock mixture of Queen, ELO, Van Halen, AC/DC and Thin Lizzy. Totally crazy dudes that play VERY cool Hard Rock.

my good thing... last night got a call from a friend saying she was down at a certain Minneapolis bar and a certain guy with a pomp was there. Grabbed my hubby and we ran downtown. I did not approach him (there were maybe a dozen people in the bar, which is across the street from his home). The bartender told us he had a bad experience with a weird fan last week that "freaked him out" and he is now a bit "skittish". I steered clear, but got to admire Mr Setzer from a short distance. Nowhere near the excitement Tavo had, but for me, just getting to see him...even without his hair "done" he is still one hot lookin' man! And regarding the height- I'm only 5'1 so he towers over me! I met him after a show about 8 years ago.
My other good thing- a hubby who indulges me Setzer obsession and friends who call/text me with sightings

no show last night- he was just at a bar (with his wife) having a drink. SO... we went down so I could oggle him I would've approached him but it just didn't seem like the right time/place.

Home from RI, back to sunshine, my own bed, and my awesome job. Had a wonderful week and slept more than we have in the last 11 months.

My girl manages to show me that she loves me in ways I could have never imagined, she's the sweetest thing on this planet.

Celebration to officially Warm the House tonight with about 40 of our closest friends, family and coworkers. Feels so domestic.
Maybe next week we'll invite over the freaky people.
