Bloody oath Andi!!!!!! We're gonna make the trip!!!!!! Anu and I are both freaking out!!!! We should have the trip pretty well planned out by the weekend. This is one of my dreams to see the BSO. I know they'll never get to Australia, so this may be our only chance. Man, I can't wait!!!

what hotel did you decide on? There are sooo many cool Tiki Hotels with rat pack history. A cool little remod vintage hotel all done up like a Space Age Bachelor Pad is called The Orbit.. The only thing you have to deal with in these establishments is a high percentage of gay clientelle. If you can deal with that, these hotels rule. Caliente tropics is old skook Tiki Old skool Hollywood would be the Del Marco or Vicery

We ended up booking at the Doral Desert Princess. They had really good rates and they're only 15 minutes away from the gig. Thanks for the links though, if you have any ideas for accommodation in downtown LA and maybe San Fran, that'd be brilliant.
Hey by the way, am I going to need to bring an interpreter to understand you??
What's the weather temps likely to be? So many questions!!!!

It depends.. for example TODAY...When they say its 70 degrees in Los Angeles, that means its 75 degrees (49 at night) in Riverside where I live (about 40 mins drive from the strip) and 95 (61 at night) in Palm Springs.
Rancho Mirage is a few clicks up the road.

Won my second golf tournament of the year today with my Dad.
Actually, tied for first place for both events, but, it still counts.

I got my Dad to play in a Bigband again. It's it's another Group of one of my conductors, and 'cause they don't have a guitarist at the moment they asked me if I'd also like to join them. So I'm playin' in a Band together with my old man now!
