I just need to get off of my ass and get a 6G6-B, not sure how the nocturne would do with the CR. maybe a fully hollow maple gretsch too, but I'd actually need to put down the Spectra Sonic...which isn't happening.
a 1x12 6g6-b normal channel amp??? did I read that correctly? It would freakin kill with a CR and a spectrasonic dude.. I hotrodded my sons V-18 (crate AC15 vox thing) and if you keep the master up and the gain low, its impressive... STILL you NEED a 2x12 6G6-B in the normal channel if youre playin that guitar.. NEED IT..kil for it as that is what I intended the Nocturne for.
btw.. here is a Kustom Kandy Tangerine MetalFlake finish version going to Vince Ray.. I want one like this..this to me is the most beautiful paint job ever.. cant imagine how beaut my 54 buick would look in this color!!
Right on. I may have to try to get one soon. Trust me, I'm almost at the point of letting go of my CR to get into a 6G6-B with a 2x12 cab. but I want to atleast have the difference saved up first, and maybe have some extra for a speaker swap (maybe some scumback alnico and their H mag speaker?). Just tough to tell what I', doing musically. I've been on a weird kick these last few months doing stuff like spacey country-tinged indie rock, heavy fuzzed riff blues, and post war folk/50's and early 60's pop/rock/country/beatles influenced indie type stuff (which could be cool as a trio with a drummer and upright bassist), but aside from the heavy fuzzed riff blues thing it sounds like the Nocturne could fit in pretty well. BTW, the tangerine kills!

| You guys have to know everyone over here at the Vega house is really excited to start hearing the reports on the nocturne. Good or bad, this is the place for us to learn.. I've already learned sooo much from this whole process. One simple thing for sure is, never have more than two beers an hour when holding a 400 degree soldering iron. | |

| After I pay my car tags this month, I will find out if I can get one of these in my hands.
I dig the tangelo...but that candy tangerine is too sweet.

| Tavo! You are the man. Recorded with the nocturne for the first time today. I've been using a tube screamer Ts10 for the past 15-20 years and it is gone! That's why I ordered the green, so I still would recognize the colour when on stage. All the players on here should have one. I can get such a smokin' tone at 2 1/2 volume (63 blonde) it's not funny. Bass roll off is not an issue...boy she cooks at 5 o'clock! Going to try the L-5 later on the weekend. What a fantastic pedal T.V. All the best!

| I only understood about half of those words that came from your keyboard, but I read enough to know that this is just about the coolest thing to happen to someone 'round here since Andi won that gee-tar! Not just the interview, but the remarkable success story still in the early chapters that is the Brain Seltzer Nocturne.
Congratulations, TV!

but it only went across the border. Just wondering.. Not yet. Edit: The package has arrived. They charged me a ridiculously high amount for customs and tax, insane! Edit II: Worth every penny.

| Picked it up on Friday and I have played it this weekend. Will gig with it in Scotland next weekend. Well, this pedal got to be the cleaverst pedal ever invented in this centurey It makes my princeton sound like one of rawest princeton in the world, I believe Mr. Setzer would beg me to borrow it if he heard the sound of it TV, Thanks for being part of this, I believe you have created history. Shipping, packing and labeling were just excellent He is so happy with his new "orange" family | |

| Tavo, mi hermano de guitarra, muchas gracias!
First off, I got the purple one. You warned that the light was cool, but I didn't know it was going to match the purple case - very cool.
OK - everyone is ga ga over the "Brain" tones, but let me tell you about something else it can do. I have literally ached all my life for a jazz tone that I kept hearing in my head. Lots of guys, like Wes Montgomery, Russell Malone, etc., seemed to have no trouble getting that on any amp with their basic 57 humbuckers, usually on an L4, L5, or ES-175. I have had various archtops over the years, and now play the L4, but was never quite "there" with the sound.
GEEZO TV, you just gave it to me!
I have no idea why my 57PAFs sound so good through this little box, but holy crap! Ephphatha !
You have put your soul into this creation, and it shows.
I always wondered why the Les Paul guitar had so much more soul than the Fender Tele or Strat, then I realized that the inventor was a guitar player who spent many hours trying to get it right. I don't even know if Leo could play the guitar . . . Anyway, TV can and his pursuit of a sonic perfection lead to something really outstanding.
Les Paul never realized that his solid body guitar would be the main instrument for high volume overdriven rock gods like Peter Frampton or Ace Frehley.
TV may have given the Nocturne to the jazz world without realizing it. I can't decide whether to share it with my jazz guitar friends or hide it so they don't discover where I get my new-found Mojo.
I don't know if I can hide it, however. That purple LED is something!
Amo usted, Tavo.

| Yea, I know it looks blue, in the picture. Trust me, it's purple. ScottS can tell you all about that . . .
