Thanks man. Your sound is great by the way, even without a Nocturne. (Can this be possible??! ) Keep' rockin'!

First off, I got the purple one. You warned that the light was cool, but I didn't know it was going to match the purple case - very cool.
OK - everyone is ga ga over the "Brain" tones, but let me tell you about something else it can do. I have literally ached all my life for a jazz tone that I kept hearing in my head. Lots of guys, like Wes Montgomery, Russell Malone, etc., seemed to have no trouble getting that on any amp with their basic 57 humbuckers, usually on an L4, L5, or ES-175. I have had various archtops over the years, and now play the L4, but was never quite "there" with the sound.
GEEZO TV, you just gave it to me!
I have no idea why my 57PAFs sound so good through this little box, but holy crap! Ephphatha !
You have put your soul into this creation, and it shows.
I always wondered why the Les Paul guitar had so much more soul than the Fender Tele or Strat, then I realized that the inventor was a guitar player who spent many hours trying to get it right. I don't even know if Leo could play the guitar . . . Anyway, TV can and his pursuit of a sonic perfection lead to something really outstanding.
Les Paul never realized that his solid body guitar would be the main instrument for high volume overdriven rock gods like Peter Frampton or Ace Frehley.
TV may have given the Nocturne to the jazz world without realizing it. I can't decide whether to share it with my jazz guitar friends or hide it so they don't discover where I get my new-found Mojo.
I don't know if I can hide it, however. That purple LED is something!
Amo usted, Tavo.
I went to babblefish to translate the spaniardish, thanks!! Jazz and the Nocturne= harlem nocturne? I'd like to hear it with a carve top done like this dude does w/ his sax.

Woah, what a sweet version of the harlem.
Vidar Busk made pretty good one too, with a baritone guitar. There's none audio of it on the net but its on the Atomic Swing album, which is currently unavailable on Amazon et least...

any posts at any forum are helpful.. I mean so far there are 25 boxes out there.. I do need help making a splash and all the things I see written are a blessing. I've near sold out of the second run and just ordered boxes for a third run but those will be "Xmas" specials cuz theyre in this wild irridescent pink champagne sparkle kandy color..anyway thats yet to appear. I'm wildly trying to get the second run of pedals all back from the painter and put circuits in them quick as possible. (still feels silly to write this cuz I was really afraid I'd only sell half of that first 25....and I may only end up finishing 50 and the thrill might pass, but man what a cool thing to be able to share with you guys that lil box)
This picture below sez a thousand words as the Nocturne got used for something a little different. a preamp for Geoff's upright bass at a nashville club gig.. he said it worked well for him.. First Jazz apps with Sharky and now Slappin upright bass with Geoff! maybe it could be used to hold the van door open when its time to tear down.

I had my Nocturne Pedal with me when I went to the music-store today, and let the owner (awesome Bass player, I have already posted a Video of him in another thread) try it. He had it in front of a Trace Elliot Amp, and it made a big difference. He meant it's a good effect because you don't hear, that it is one! That pedal just makes everything sound better!

The following is a direct quote from Daithi aka Dave from Spellbound. From the Rockablly Ireland Message board: "Well fuck me. thats the wierdest and possibly best pedal I've ever bought.! and of course the sparkleyest'est !!. First thing you notice is that the gain (gritsch) button only works from 3 o'clock to 5 o'clock. But jesus does it work Shocked Very sensitive to touch but has a quite huge effect on the pickups and thus the amp. It's not so much louder..but, just (as geoff so elequently put it ) 'Gooder' Its like taking the cover off your amp, cleaning out your ears and turning the speakers toward you if you know what I mean. there's sort of 3 different settings 3,4 & 5 ..3 is unity gain with the amp, just a bit beefier. 4 is dirtier.. quite a bit more obvious bite dynamically and tonally different (subtle) and 5 is like the amp is getting pissed off and angry Cheesy There's a bass cut on it that ehhh.. cuts the bass so you (as it says in the destructions) dont blow your speakers up Evil It's basically a Mic Pre amp for a guitar freak, but I'd imagine it'll make any instrument sound 'gooder' Obviously wont wake you sound exactly or play like Brian Setzer, as its all in his hands and fingertips..but definitely very much closer to it with the right tweaking !! and anything that makes your rig sound this much better is welcome in my world!! It'll need a proper outing to see its full potential so..just waiting on the 'Seltzer Hands' and 'Seltzer Brain' to be invented now.. Top class pedal !! Fair play to Tavo! looking forward to bringing it to the eurovision..I mean Estonia. "

thats cool man, I wonder if he's now had a chance to play loud. While you can play at low studio levels and get the right sound, the pedal is created to have Setzer LIVE sound.. You can actually turn your amp up to 5 and not have to turn the nocturn up really past 2-3 oclock. There is absolutely nothing subtle about it at 4-5 with you amp at those levels. Its all about getting that "dirty boogie" album sound or "Live in Japan" tone..
I have dreamed of having this tone since I first got the LIJ DVD, it haunts me and I cant get enough, ...I know... its overboard but the instant control of feedback at the beginning of Sleepwalk tells you the RE301 is making that blonde quiver in vibrations of joy. Nothing "simple" and vintage about it. The boy is a Genius taking a 59' gretsch, a 60s blonde and a 70s-80s effects box to make that sound. ...lets revisit (forward to Sleepwalk and turn up the speakers)

Had a slip up in the tint on a Candy Orange as it got amber tint in the clear turning the Candy orange into a copper sunburst color. Its a one off and no plans for more of this sort of 120th annie copper mist look.

I GOTTA get me one of these, I have a couple things that I can unload to get a Nocturne.
Don't stop making them, yet TV! Between all these recent project that I'm undertaking, I haven't had time and not much extra cash to keep tabs on these. Joys of being a home owner.
