| Nice job there TV. You've really done your homework on the electronics of the 301, and it shows in the sound of your pedal. My one bit of unsolicited advice, though, would be to not only market it as an amp. effect but also as an effects pedal, because, unfortunately, alot of "mainstream" players who aren't as gung-ho into the Setzer sound as all of us are, aren't going to have the vintage tube amps and are looking for more of a portable "plug and play" type of device. Still, it's your choice and I wish ye the best of luck in its success.
So how much do ye figure for shipping to Davy Jones' Locker?

Capt. Jones I understand, although I dont want mainstream players to have one nor do I want them to be able to "plug and play". If they aint really rockabilly musicians that dig Setzer then I dont want to sell them one. I made this thing for me and I think I want to share it with about 50 friends... Thats enough to make hippies jealous of our toys right? maybe it should be called the Hippie Killer instead of the nocturn? That make my folks very proud!

| just a quick update. found an EE to schem a PCB for me. He has found a way to make the circuit board as small as the space inside the RE301's circuit space for the head amp. This pre amp pedal will be the size of a small hammond box, one knob with dip switch inside for bass cut and 35-50db boost/cut. Doesnt get any more simple. Should be able to start building the first batch before the Fourth of July. stay tuned | |

Looking forward to hearing it in person!

| How else would I be able to accept credit card? ..since I use paypal for my guitar shop biz, it'll have to do for me to get pedals to everyone from 3 continents so far. I am happy to accept cash at my front door though, or be flown to your front door for delivery. | |

| As long as both seller and buyer are legit and trustworthy I see no problem with Paypal. I bought my SSLVO via PayPal for god's sake | |

I buy EVERYTHING with paypal, so much so I now carry a paypal debit card and they give me a small buyer reward credit each time. ..but the bastards charge me 3% to receive payments..oh well. The services outway the charges.. Instant shipping labels with tracking freaking rule...

| It's an amp effect so it needs to go near the end of the pedal board, but before or after the delay?

N I just had a more "vintage" electronic engineer from Raytheon fix things so it will sit before any effect that has a buffered bypass. So you dont want to place non true bypass pedals in front of it (cuz I'm not interested in adding a buffer circuit, you can buy drop in versions of those from Barber for $45). Its going to have a bass boost to help out plank guitarists with open back combos.. (maybe I already said that) btw.. why dont you return emails man of southern mystery?
