Hello everyone hope your week is starting off well. Glad to see you around Andi.
My good thing for today making a last payment on a loan I wish we never had. Woohoo!!!
ETA: Bear I hope all is well with your pup. My dog this past summer got sprayed right in the eye by a skunk hanging out on our deck. Up close the smell is a thousand times worse. I was smelling it for days.

Happy one year, BK and Jenny! Man, how time flies. Doesn't seem like it's been that long.
Thank you all for the kind words here and in the other thread, I do appreciate the support. If in the last couple weeks you PMd me and I didn't respond, please don't take it personally. I'm back to normal now.
Today's Good Thing - being super-productive at work!!

Happy anniversary BK! Sounds like you both celebrated well.
Bear, Hope your dog is recovering quickly, and I bet he won't mess with a porcupine again!
Andi, Welcome back to "normal".
Amity, way to go on paying off that loan.
Good thing today: enjoying reading other people's good things!
Take care everyone.

Used this song as a lullaby to send my 6yr old off to dreamland.. forgot how much I love sting. I got all the stuff by the police and most of Stings stuff but just kinda jumped ship for a while.. time to go revisit thanks.

As for his English, every once in a while you can hear an accent but his phrasing and ability to convey emotion is just as good in English as German. Here's his English version of another song, also really nice:

I never said anything bad abiyt JT, that boy is a serious talent. He can sing, dance, act in movies, and really funny on SNL... BUT it does gets irritating to hear every singer tryin to be him or christina aguilara

Agreed! I was referring to Brett's "Oh, "
because there are so different in my eyes and ears, but both are great talents, sure
Roger was/is a big Prince fan, but he became famous with his swing tunes.
And his lyrics are great.
Guess who rules the world tells defenitly the truth...
How did you find him, Andi?

Guitarmaniac, nice! BTW, where's the gig you're possibly playing in a month?? Congrats on that!
Webby, hard to believe those awards have been around almost as long as you have.
Today's Good Thing - goin' to see some rockabilly! Last week Guitarmaniac told me about an Australian rockabilly band that he just saw in Munich, so I went to their MySpace page... and learned they're playing in San Diego tonight! So I'm gonna go see 'em! It's a small world...

It's at a private Birthday party. So unfortunately there won't be any public viewers. But it's a good start in front of a limited audience!
Have fun Andi! And don't forget to tell them greetings from Munich, and remind them of the Rattlesnake train

I cleaned the bathroom and got the shower drain unclogged today. It sparkles in there - you could eat off the toilet seat, but I wouldn't recommend it.
I'm so useful and handy - some lucky girl is gonna hit the jackpot someday, if she can reel me in!

Normally, that would be a safe assumption, but sometimes, you just get lucky, and you wake up with super-human strength, and feel like you could take on the world!
