Went to a super cool Concert of Götz Alsmann (He's a kinda famous Entertainer here, and is an excellent Jazz Pianist, aswell as a Ukulele Player)
And the best was, that he even took the time to sign my Ukulele:
I can't stop looking at it!

Youre right I still love the guy. Many a summers soundtrack to my life. I guess what im trying to say is that its more like when people ask "why did you start playing guitar?" I then go "cough cough Jack Johnson" then smile big time. It was perfect for me and got me what I think is the greatest foundation for learning guitar. Wonderful melodies and more so, Learning chords and STRUMMING patters. I learned how to pick up anything after that. This guy I was playing with tonight couldnt get the strumming for the D at the beginning of rock this town. Really?! Thank you Jack Johnson and Ben Harper. TWO GOOD THINGS

Had a pretty cool Gig with the Bigband on Thursday, and my best friend on the Piano, and me on the guitar did a cool Solo on "Now Baby or Never! I don't know how we did that but we were so into that tune, that we've been soloing for 6-8 minutes. I even played some stuff I never played before, and I really don't know how I did that, but it just happened. The Horn section was doing some cool choreography with their instruments by the way. Was the first time I used the Nocturne in the bIgband, but I think I'm, gonna write about that in the cave. I do soooooo hope, that somebody has recorded it
And Today I went to the music Fair in Frankfurt, saw some cool stuff, and had a nice Conversation with Tom from TV Jones, we also talked about the Nocturne.

The coolest thing happened to me this morning!
I went for an early morning run around the lake and was stretching when a Vietnamese lady came over to me and asked if I wanted to have breakfast with her, another vietnamese lady and two visiting monks from Vietnam.. well how often does an opportunity like this come up so I said 'Sure!'.. and I went over to where they were, and we sat down together and ate and drank and it was awesome!.. It was really cool to be eating breakfast with real monks, and they were so happy.. And I had the best conversation even though none of them could understand English and I don't understand Vietnamese!! And they invited me to stay in their temple when ever I'm in Vietnam and I said 'I'm gonna hold you to that so you better remember me'.. and everyone laughed and it was sooooo cool!
P.S. The monks were in Australia because they were teaching.. that's what I gathered anyway.

Walking home alone through the dimly lit streets of my beloved hometown in a chilly spring-night listening to the BSO version of Sleepwalk through my headphones. Could only be more perfect if there would have been a nice girl in my arms. Can't be beat otherwise.
