| My good thing? Determination. If you tell me I can't, I will. And if I succeed, then what? And if I fail, then what? I guess I have no choice but to succeed. | |

| realizing the irony lies in the fact i'm going down with the boat. realizing once i hit the bottom, there will be only one way to go...up. remembering the sole piece of advice i dish out to everyone that applies in every scenario: you've got to look out for #1--because no body else will. no body else...... will. | |

| I got up and SANG at the talent contest at my office party on Saturday and won $50! Then spent the rest of the evening down the hall with some of my work mates singing Beatles songs into the wee hours.... now that's my kinda night! Oh, and the song I sang in the contest? Gimme Some Rhythm, Daddy. With Setzer. | |

| After 7 hours of work I wasn't sure I would be able to do, I removed a stainless steel sink, (then proceeded to beat the shit out of it in my garage in frustration because I am not a plumber, and, PVC Piping is not my friend) and then installed this cast iron sink and new faucet. Next project, sand and refinish our dresser, it must have been made in the 40-50's, so, it is a solid piece of furniture, but, the color doesn't match and it could just use a little refresher. -BK | |

Thanks for this advise. Glad you like it! I'm really diggin' "3 cool cats" that'd be an awesome Stray Cats Cover, just because of the title already. And the original Version of Wild Sax is great too.

| Sitting on a futon in a tiny one room house with hardwood floors, arms and legs all a-tangle with a tall handsome half-Russian from Rhode Island with enormous blue-green eyes and the most stunning smile you've ever seen, listening to Earl Grant Live at Basin Street East on vinyl.... I can't even count how many Good Things that is. | |

| My one good thing today? My best friends. My friends who are like sisters to me, who know everything about me, and love me and support me every step of the way. Without them, I would be lost. A woman cannot have too many TRUE girlfriends. Tonight I got to kick back with my peeps. We talked about the good stuff, the bad stuff, and the scary stuff. I love knowing that I have 4 people I can call on, ANY hour of the day, who will do ANY thing for me, and I would do ANYTHING in the world for them! They are truly the best....and I am truly blessed. | |

Hey...who you calling foreigner? It was a great race. Spent most of the day hanging out on Canada Corner, watching some pretty good racing going on, and a wicked crash. Road America covers over 600 acres, so you can't see the whole track from one spot. We brought our bikes and covered ground pretty quickly. Saw the paddock, played some games with the kids, and watched from a couple of different spots before we settled into Canada Corner. It was the first NASCAR race there since the 50's. Good thing---spent the day with family, it was a gorgeous day weather-wise, and I didn't have to cook. Great thing--aloe vera gel for the sunburn. OUCH Happy Father's Day to all you Dads out there! hrg

| Spending father's day with my boys today. You can all do the math.
Happy Father's day out there to all the wonderful dad's in rockabilly land! Give your little ones a big hug & kiss! And for the rest of you...give your pop's a big hug & kiss no matter where they may be!
Off to do some shopping for Grandpa.

| I suppose this is a good thing, because it shows he's growing up...
We dropped our 9-year-old off for his first overnight camp experience yesterday. He's been to the same place for day camps for the past 3 summers - as a "Pee Wee" they sleep in Mom and Dad's tent/camper. But now he's a "Fledgling", so he stays overnight by himself.
I had a lump in my throat most of the way home yesterday. I'm such a big baby.
We pick him up at noon on Wednesday - I can't wait!

He looked a little sad while his car was driving off, and I got teary eyed too. But, if we do our jobs well as parents, our kiddos will be just fine. I just don't let go very easily. Keeping you and yours in my thoughts and prayers. hrg
