Got an A-Grade in my final secondary-school examinations, and my parents gave me a Six-String Banjo to celebrate that

My good thing is my boss, and how much he loves me.
By loves me, I mean the tasks he puts in my hands.
Last december, he gave me the tast of acting as the DQ Curly Cone at a Minnesota Golden Gopher basketball game for the halftime show. There, I sunk a basket and made a brief cameo appearance on Sportscenter.
This time, he hit the home run, literally.
July 17, I will be the DQ Curly Cone again. At Target Field. Before a Twins game.
I will be playing in a mascot softball game ON target field!
Every little boy dreams of setting foot on a major league baseball field, and having the ability to PLAY on that field.... Oh boy!
I will have someone chaperone me that day, and they will have my cameras to make sure this experience is documented to the max.
Not a bad gig. I work in fast food.

Game one of the playoffs, tie ball game, bottom of the 6th, bases loaded, two outs.. My son is at bat, hits a game winning walk off single, the crowd goes wild, mobbed by his team mates. Cardinals win!
so nice to see him so happy.

Guitarmaniac, You can't love without being hurt once in a while. Personally I'd rather love and be loved and take the chance of being hurt than to live hidden in fear, never encountering the magic love has to offer. Better to realize now this isn't the right girl for you.
My good thing today...sunshining down on me and fresh air in my lungs. No one can take that from me.
And that's definitly what I'm going to do! I won't be hiding in my room. Since I'm done with school I have lots of time to kill and go out and party all night with lots of friends, where theres always the chance of meeting new people =) Even though I still feel hurt, I'm enjoying my life now more than in the last 2-3 months.
Today I went out to see Imelda May =) I got two picks from darrel and a nice photo with Imelda. I look like a psycho though, just like on every picture with someone famous^^
While I'm proud of you in that Tshirt, I'm more proud of that smile (and dracula eyes). That lil hug had to be nice. Imelda is just WOW... no words.. just WOW on all fronts. cheers

My good thing today was celebrating Caroline's first 4th of July.
She was not so happy when I told her she couldn't have a dilly bar for dessert.

My good thing came in form of being able to see one of the greatest home run hitters of all time hit a MAMMOTH home run at target field.
Jim Thome crushed a 490ft home run for career home run number 596.

I'm looking forward to meeting some people in my area interested in starting a rockabilly band!
I'm a bit worried that my guitar playing isn't really up-to-scratch but I look forward to meeting some like-minded souls nonetheless!

Been away from my own thread far too long.
9 full days with my favorite person on the planet and zero responsibilities starts in roughly 4 hours.
Best birthday present ever.

That's Adriano's personal guitar the Guys from Gretsch built for him. It's based on the Setzer-Model. That thing played better then anything else I ever had in my hands. The '59 sounded a bit nicer, but the green one helped more
