I got a hold of the Samson Airline Wireless and used it over a couple of gigs, Boy it really kills the Bottom end goes and creates a nasty distortion (only slight but enough to be noticeable), soon as I changed back to a cable the tone was back again.
I used a wireless for one gig.. hideous things happened to my tone too. George L's have been good to me.

Then my contribution to the Nocturne Brain Seltzer. This is a Nocturne Brain Seltzer demonstration with a Gretsch SSLVO, Fender Princeton Reverb RI (Celestion G12H30 & JJ 6V6 tubes, RCA Rectifier) T-Rex Reptile & TIM pedal.
Sorry about the bad picture and the loosey sound, it is done with a cheapo Sony digital.
Also sorry about the sloopy playin, it`s like Jimmy Page live in the 70`s

K, your videos are not working when you post them? Are you using the youtube link or the flash link? I fixed your other video to function proper but then it got resized? I'll fix this one too if you want, cuz when I click it... nada
I think you are using the embedded link instead of the shared link?

can I post your vid at GDP? you happen to own the fabled Replica $$ delay and some wonder how it sounds with a nocturne. is the modulation on it cool or is like every other one that sounds like a chorus pedal?

Right now it is not working after some dumbass spilled a gintonic into it. Before that I did not use it because, yes sounded like chorus pedal.

But when you take the rubber feet off the bottom plate falls off!

take off your rubber and just use the screw
okay being serious, yes use only the screws with 3M heavy duty velcro and if having the plate being a little loose is bothersome, then just put some tiny washers or nylon bushings behind the plate (t'ween the plate and pedal)

hi tavo, can you change this pattern to show the mods necessary to make our gretsch 100% functional when it's plugged into a preamp nocturne please? I mean the problem of losing guitar volume taper ... Thanks !

replace the tone switch circuit with a 500K push/pull audio taper pot with a .02uf orange drop cap. The pot in the down position is the "bypass" meaning ground is disconnected thus totally out of the wiring harness circuit. (pull up and its employed).
Then on the master volume you place a .001 orange drop cap and 150K metal film resistor across the wipers (obviously one lug is grounded to the pot) Its important that all pots are wired as specs in the tvjones diagram as Gretsch specs has those leads reversed on the pickups.
I have this in my SSU and on my youtube Beerbilly channel, there is a "Saint Paddy"s video with my youngest son in a cat mask with a green hat on. In that video I demo this wiring harness mod and how it functions with my Nocturne.. Fully remote control of the nocturne gain structure.
FWIW.. there is a new version of the nocturne with about 25% more gain, high end and leaner lows for those who use master volume amps and humbucker (hot single coil) guitars.

You guys have a collectors items now. As of Today the name "SELTZER" on my Nocturne Preamps is no more.
So.. if your pedal has the word SELTZER on it, consider it special. You are the ones that helped spearhead it all and I commend you Particularly the first 25 that blindly trusted me and ordered in advance, that is even more amazing.

Sorry to hear the assholes over at TGP got to you, Tavo. But I do understand your concern. Apparently, one of your defenders (not me) sent an email off to Brian (does he even get those things?) and asked him what he thought.
It would be tre cool for Brian to contact you, tell you no worries, and then request a Nocturne for himself.

I doubt he receives the emails but in my understanding his camp knows very well about the pedal. I'm sending them a letter today to let them know I'm in the process of removing the Seltzer from my pedals so as to not cause any problems..
Mostly though because of the issues you speak of.

Of course you removed it. I told you months ago when you were trying to get Brian to try your pedal that he wouldn't be amused, of course you deleted the thread. He's made it very clear that he is irritated by the mispronunciation of his surname. So you manufacture a pedal which is an obvious play on his name which is known to annoy him and wonder why he won't acknowledge your pedal. You're not really that slow, are you?

Brian's management has known about my pedal... If it was irritating I would have been contacted especially with Niels being a member of this forum. (they have since been contacted about my intentions to change the name)
to your tooth-fanged assumption "So you manufacture a pedal which is an obvious play on his name which is known to annoy him and wonder why he won't acknowledge your pedal. You're not really that slow, are you?"
Obvious play to whom?.. youre misinformed and now your attempted putdown just smacks of ignorance. Dont be a Jackweed.
This pedal was made at the push of many guitarists on this forum and in particular Nikko who supplied me with the Space echo to have reverse engineered. Then when I came up with a basic prototype some 20+ forum members trusted me enough with their money to give them something they could feel proud to be a part of. I had enough funds to build a run of 20-25 pedals and for the most part they were well received. When you smart off like this, you offend MANY forum members and are not just shooting cheap shots at me. WE MADE this Nocturne Preamp happen HERE at this forum...
crawl back under your rock or play nice ....PLEASE.
