| Good Thing today: listening to what has, over the past few months, become one my favorite Chris Isaak tunes in the car this morning - on repeat, at top volume, singin' my lungs out. Chances are he won't play it when I see him live in 10 days, so I'm gettin' my fill now Big Wide Wonderful World Look at the sky / Sky just got bluer Look at those eyes / They're calling me to her
It's a big wide wonderful world Wonderful world / I've just been given
It's a big wide wonderful world Wonderful world / Yeah that we live in
And I know / Yeah baby I know We're gonna keep on swingin'
Look at the sky / Things just got better Everything's changed / Now that I met her
It's a big wide wonderful world Wonderful world / I've just been given
It's a big wide wonderful world Wonderful world / Yeah that we live in
And I know / Yeah baby I know We're gonna keep on swingin' Swing it now
Look at that sky / I'm gonna keep on swingin' Look at that sky / I'm gonna keep on singin'
Oh cause I know / Yeah baby I know It's a big wide wonderful world

| After some stres with starting a PayPal account, and getting it working I finally could order a Nocturne Pedal today, Surprisingly today, it's one year ago that I saw the Stray Cats in Cologne, seems like September 2nd always keeps something "setzerish" for me! | |

| Nice one Cristo! I almost spit Dr Pepper at my computer screen! Sooo many Good Things. The good kinda soreness from three consecutive days of kung fu. Getting a wave from a motorcyclist on the freeway when I made a little room for him to get past me (had done it many times before over the last couple of weeks with no waves - felt like a major victory to finally get one! Hee hee!) Laughing my head off in pain and tears when my Indian coworker gave me a slice of the spiciest pizza I've ever had without telling me it was spicy. Ignoring the naysayers, knowing that Good Things ARE Good Things dammit!! Having total short-timers disease at work, looking forward to the long weekend.... SETZERNESS AND ISAAKNESS IN MY NEAR FUTURE! WOO HOO! | |

| Sorry, this is already a week old...
Deke Dickerson played last weekend about 10 miles from my home! This may be no big deal for those of you living in cities, but I kinda live in the middle of nowhere, so I was pretty excited! It was in a casino lounge, so I had to walk past hundreds of senior citizens feeding the slots, only to discover...
...about 8 people in the lounge watching the show. I could not flippin' believe it!
Well, anyway, the musical taste of my county notwithstanding, I had a great time. As always, Deke put on a great show.
Hey, he's going to Spain next weekend! Some big rockabilly thing. I'm guessing if you live in that neighborhood, you already know about it!

| Ouch! The "good" thing is that it's not permanent and hopefully you'll be back on your feet later today? Hope so! | |

| good thing today.. I'm alive-so I guess that's good. Found out there are other med's I can check out, as well as anti-nausea medicine if this doesn't go away. And there's people who have migraines worse than I, so I should quit my bitchin'. Here's hoping I survive the night. | |

| Sorry I didn't offer any support yesterday, enjay - all I could think of was "you're alive", and wasn't sure you'd appreciate that very much considering how you were feeling! Hang in there...
My good thing: short work week! (everybody's workin' for the weekend...)

| Feel better enjay. Today I picked up my tennis racket for the first time in a long time. Not as rusty as I thought I was, at least good enough to beat hubs in a set. | |

| Feel better soon, Enjay! Bad thing: Dead car battery this morning, and I had to drive two other kiddos to school. Good thing: Got it all worked out last minute, and the two other kids got to school on time. Bad thing: Mine were late. Walked to one school, then rode bikes to another. Good thing: 5 miles later...I don't have to "work out" today... I'm gonna kill the hubby when he gets home... (might be a good thing, might be a bad thing. ) | |

| Good thing.... found the right cocktail of prescription & non-prescription drugs to take the stab out of the migraine. Feeling light-headed now, still nauseous. But no pain. Be thankful you don't live near me, as I have to operate a motor vehicle daily for the next few days. At least until that long awaited for weekend Bear mentioned. It sucks having to try to explain to your kids why you're crying because you're in so much pain. Yes....I was literally crying for 2 days my head hurt so much. Yes....I almost took myself to the hospital. As long as my "cocktail" works, and I can function....all is good for now. Probably rotting my stomach lining...but feeling no pain. Breath of Life. | |

I perfectly understand how you can feel. I suffered from migraine too during so many years, took several medicine and sometimes more than what I should have for no real improvement; until I discovered homeopathy a few years ago and now I haven't had a migraine for a long long time. It is quite long to discover the right treatment and restricting to swallow it several times a day, but at least you don't destroy your stomach and no side effects. If you are open to that kind of medicine, it is worth trying... Hope it helped

| to quote Tears For Fears: Alive & Kicking. Head is much better. Able to cut back on some meds. Functionality is still the name of the game. But at least I am functioning, and the 2 little young men of the house are happy about that. Mom duty calls.... | |

| Good thing: Raced a couple of kids in my WRX wagon, this ol' gal showed 'em how to run out the gears. Great thing: I won. They caught up w/me at the next light and complimented me on my "mad driving skillz", and nice car. Really great thing: Neither of us got a ticket. | |
